Dr. Konstantinos Samaras is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Agricultural Entomology & Zoology of the Department of Agricultural Development (Democritus University of Thrace, Greece). He also serves as Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Development. Additionally, he is a General Plant Protection Manager and Outlet Manager in Agrohellas S.A. He is an active member of the Hellenic Fertilizers’ Association and member of the technical committee of biostimulants (S.P.E.L). He has a first degree in Agricultural Sciences (Plant production, Plant Protection and Environment), a MSc in Sustainable Production Systems and Environment in Agriculture and a PhD (fellowship from Onassis Foundation) in Entomology from the Democritus University of Thrace (Greece). His research focuses on crop protection, biological control, ecology and integrated pest management. His publication record includes 6 publications in peer-reviewed journals with an h-index = 4 (Scopus, Google scholar), 69 citations. He has participated in 8 projects.
